"I have a BFA in Fashion from Virginia Commonwealth University and background in interior design. I am influenced by art, architecture and the history of fashion and textiles to create designs with clean lines and beautiful styling. I share my passion for photography, by creating pictures and content that hopefully tell a story of a small fashion studio making clothing here in the US.

Wearing so many hats in this company and learning several of the skills from trial and error has been the most challenging thing I've ever tackled. It's not easy being an American Made women's clothing brand. Despite the setbacks, I wake up every morning and love my job. We feel strongly that the fashion cycle needs to slow down and there is a value to things created thoughtfully by your hands. Each piece is made to order by a small team of highly skilled seamstresses. We produce our product locally, but source the finest fabrics and findings globally, mainly from Europe, Japan, and the US.

REDEFINING BEAUTY IN FASHION

ADALÉI is a fierce supporter of mental health awareness and education, specifically relating to eating disorders. A recent survey in partnership with UNC Chapel Hill found that 75% of women think and behave abnormally around food. We feel the fashion industry has projected an unrealistic image of a woman's body for decades, which has created dysfunctional standards of beauty. We also stand firmly against ageism in fashion and modeling, which we feel is the next wave of inclusion, and are proud to represent models who are over 40.
