  • THE MATERIALS THE EARTH OFFERS — WAX, PIGMENT, FIBER, RESIN — ARE ENOUGH.

When you slow down to work with them honestly, they tell you what to make.

ADALÉI is the record of that conversation.

    ADALÉI is a Raleigh-based creative studio —

Working in encaustic, fiber, and textile.
I am not a painter. I am not a seamstress. I am a material artist — someone whose fluency moves across wax, fiber, fabric, and photography because the medium serves the idea, not the other way around.
The studio began with textiles. Years of designing, draping, and construction — work that required the same precision and material intelligence that encaustic demands. The foundation didn't disappear when the wax arrived. It became the reason the textiles are different.

I drink from the well of knowledge and experience that I know — under the needle, behind the lens, feeling the heat of the wax, and seeing things through a singular vision of creating.

Every piece in the ADALÉI collection — whether it is an 8 x 8 encaustic study or shearling, wool lumbar pillow — is designed with the same eye. The same palette. The same insistence that an object earn its place in a room.
The studio is in Raleigh, NC. The work ships from here. Commission inquiries open early 2027.
