"Starting with sketches on paper, I partnered with a 2nd generation furniture craftsman from Hickory, NC, with years of experience at one of the top frame shops in the state. Building the frame components in his woodshop and passing the "kits" to me — each ottoman is built to order — frames joined, foam and fiber wrapped, a custom cotton cover applied, and non-scratch polyurethane "hidden" wheels tucked inside the frame bottom.
A snug fit slipcover is then cut and sewn, which I prefer over upholstered, since so easy to remove and clean. I designed these at dining height to be used at a table for extra seating, a desk, or a pair elegantly rolled under a console with large art display above. Every aspect from the frame size, to height, the comfort fit of the multi density foam was designed with intention."
